Ultimate Firehouse Chili Verde

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup onions, diced
  • ¾ cup salsa verde
  • 1 cup white beans, canned
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1¾ cups Roth® Ultimate Firehouse shred blends
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Scallions, hot sauce, avocado and/or tomato as garnish (optional)


  1. Place turkey and onions in saucepan and cook until onions are tender.
  2. Add salsa, white beans, stock and cumin. Season to taste and cook until ingredients blend, approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Toss cheese with cornstarch.
  4. Slowly add cheese/cornstarch mixture to chili. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Optional: garnish with scallions, hot sauce, avocado and/or diced tomato.
